257. Jan Willem GROTERS was born on 9 May 1847 in Borculo (Haarlo) nr. 24.³⁵⁰ He died on 21 September 1930 at the age of 83 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. He was a kleermaker. Jan was also known as John William GROOTERS. He was buried in Garfield Park Cemetery, Kent, Michigan.

Jan Willem GROTERS and Henders KLEIN BRINKE were married on 29 May 1873 in Ruurlo, , , Netherlands. Henders KLEIN BRINKE, daughter of Roelof KLEIN BRINKE and Stiene BOUWMEESTER, was born on 25 September 1850 in Borculo, , , Netherlands. She died on 8 June 1920 at the age of 69. She was buried in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan.
